Duke of Edinburgh
30 Silver Level Duke of Edinburgh students headed into Penrose State Forest located in the NSW Southern Highlands as a part of their second silver level hike. This was a navigation based hike, which saw students placed into teams and given a map of the forest along with grid references to checkpoints and the camp sites for each night. The students had to navigate their way around the forest to meet teachers at each checkpoint. All students did a fantastic job, learnt many new skills and had a great time.
