Code of ConductThe following code of conduct has been developed to reflect the Cronulla High Student Profile and to help create a positive learning environment. 1. Learn to the best of your ability.2. Respect yourself and others.3. Take responsibility for your own actions.4. Be honest and fair.5. Be courteous to all staff and students.6. Look after your school and your environment. Classroom Behaviour and Good Manners - Bring all necessary equipment to every lesson.
- Line up quickly and quietly outside the classroom and wait for your teachers.
- Put up your hand to speak to your teacher and wait to be acknowledged.
- Listen carefully.
- Be polite at all times.
- Use appropriate language.
- If you need to leave your seat, ask permission.
- Do not eat in class.
- Wait for your teacher’s instructions before packing up and leaving the room.
- Leave the classroom tidy with all furniture properly arranged.
- Move quickly and quietly to the next class walking to the left in corridors.
Conduct in the Playground - Be polite while waiting in line or being served in the canteen.
- Leave the canteen area immediately after making your purchase.
- Place all rubbish in the garbage bins provided.
- Play safe games only. Rough or dangerous games are strictly forbidden.
- Bat and ball games or kicking any footballs is not allowed in the Quadrangle.
- Climbing onto roofs or ledges to retrieve balls is not allowed.
Conduct at Sport - Be a “good sport” at all times. Know the rules of the game and play fair.
- Wear full sports uniform for all sporting events.
- Play as and be a “team player”.
- Follow your teacher’s or trainer’s instructions at sport and travelling to and from sport.
Conduct on Excursions - Be a “good ambassador” when representing your school on an excursion.
- Wear full school uniform unless otherwise instructed.
- Be courteous to members of the public especially on public transport.
- Follow your teacher’s instructions at all times on an excursion.
Conduct at School Organised Activities - Participate in or support all school activities including sports carnivals, swimming carnivals, walkathons etc.
- Be on your best behaviour at all school activities.
- Follow teachers’ instructions at all times.
